Fancy Some Dreadlocks for your Dobbin?

Sydney born Photographer Julian Wolkenstein and an advertising buddy came up with the idea of giving horses hair extensions for a fun photo shoot.
They called upon the expert services of top hair stylist Acacio da Silva to preen the equines into super model material.

Each horse took over four hours to groom and have their hair extensions added. Apparantly they loved the attention bit were not so keen on the flashing lights and studio atmosphere.

Julian had originally thought that it would take a couple of hours to shoot each horse but with the preparation time each one took a full day. This is on top of months of searching for suitable equines.
