The Waste Recycling Group has awarded the Suffolk Punch Trust a grant of £250,000.

The Trust is now £130,000 short of the £700,000 it needs to create an Education and Heritage Centre on a farm at Hollesley.

The site is an old prison farm and has also been the home of the Suffolk Punch Hollesley Bay Colony Stud for over 100 years.

Along with the land and buildings at Hollesley the Trust also purchased 27 resident Suffolk Punch Horses.

The Suffolk Punch Trust is confident it can find the shortfall in funding.
