Design a Coin for the London 2010 Equestrian Olympics

The Royal Mint is asking the public to help design a new 50 pence coin which will represent the equestrian games at London 2012.

The chosen design will be featured on the new coin and the winner will receive a £1000 prize plus a gold vers50 pence piece in their design.

The Royal Mint will be issuing 29 new designs each representing the different sports in the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The competition is open to all UK residents over 13 years of age. There are also two special categories for children to enter.
