Olympic and Paralympic medalists from Beijing 2008 will take part in a medal ceremony at Olympia this Christmas. The event will take place on Saturday 20 December at 8.15 pm and will include senior and junior riders from across all disciplines.

Medal riders will include bronze meadlist event rider, Tina Cook and Emily Llewellyn, Paralympic gold medal team dressage rider.

Team GB’s performance director Will Connell will be choreographing the parade and said “It’s a great honour for our medallists to have the opportunity to parade at Olympia, in front of an audience that is traditionally so supportive,” he said. “The whole of our equestrian team should be proud of their achievements and there’s no better way to thank the public for their support.”
