
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are this month going to present the queen with another horse. This will be the fourth horse that she has accepted during her reign as Queen.
The horse has been renamed George after the Queens Grandfather, King George.
George will be presented to the Queen on 16th May at the end of the Royal Tattoo which is held at Windsor Castle. The Tattoo includes military and equestrian displays and will also feature the RCMP Pipes and Drum band.
A mare called Burmese was the first horse given to the Queen by the Royal Canadian Mounties 40 years ago in 1969.

A stallion owned by Leona Lewis has head butted her after becoming spooked.
The X Factor winner was hit so hard that she was knocked to the floor and her lip was split. She was sent home by doctors and ordered to rest just in case she was suffering from concussion.
Leona has been riding for many years and the stallion was a birthday gift from her friends.
Ms Lewis didn’t need to have surgery on her injuries but she is resting and her album recording sessions have been put on halt for now.

Thirty year old millionaires Jordan was left to look a little foolish after Zara Philips denied having a friendship with her.
Katie’s publicist had claimed that she and Zara had struck up a friendship at Burghley Horse Trials after being invited along by Princess Anne.
However the 27 year old Royal, Zara’s spokesperson denied the friendship saying that Zara and Katie hadn’t even met and if they had it would have been in passing as Zara was competing at the event.
Katie Price has bought a new horse which she plans to compete this year along with Jordan’s Glamour Girl.
Katie bought Jordan’s Player on a recent trip to Holland and has had him flown out to Los Angeles where she is currently living with Peter André and their children.
Katie is planning a busy year with lots of dressage competitions lined up. She is also hoping looking forward to playing at a charity polo match at this years the British Open Show Jumping Championships.
Her new equestrian range will be launched in April and includes a selection of children’s equestrian clothing.

Katie Price aka Jordan is to play in a celebrity polo game at the British Open Show Jumping Championships at the Birmingham NEC this April.
The match will consist of two chukkas and is intended to give visitors an insight into the game of polo.
Jordan will captain Team KP Equestrian. The other celebrity team is yet to be confirmed.
Katie who was told that she was not wanted at the Cartier Polo International tournament last July as she was ‘too chavvy’ said:
“I’ve played polo before and really enjoyed it so I’m definitely looking forward to going head-to-head with another celebrity and hopefully scoring a few goals! And, unlike some polo matches I could mention, this one is open to anyone who wants to buy a ticket!”
