Katie Price aka Jordan is to play in a celebrity polo game at the British Open Show Jumping Championships at the Birmingham NEC this April.
The match will consist of two chukkas and is intended to give visitors an insight into the game of polo.
Jordan will captain Team KP Equestrian. The other celebrity team is yet to be confirmed.
Katie who was told that she was not wanted at the Cartier Polo International tournament last July as she was ‘too chavvy’ said:
“I’ve played polo before and really enjoyed it so I’m definitely looking forward to going head-to-head with another celebrity and hopefully scoring a few goals! And, unlike some polo matches I could mention, this one is open to anyone who wants to buy a ticket!”

The Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has reported that unwanted equines are being bought for as little as €20 and are kids are even swapping PlayStations and mobile phones for horses.
These horses will never be looked after properly as the young people purchasing them do not have the resources. It can cost upwards of €75 a week to put a horse on livery and just turning them out in a field or tethering them is not an option at this time of year.
The society normally deals with about 40 unwanted horse per year but they have had over 30 in the past four months alone.
Irish Charities are now considering a cull of animals in their care as their facilities are being so stretched.

Irish born actor Liam Neeson has expressed his opposition to a new bill aimed at banning horse drawn carriages from the streets of New York.
Neeson who lives in New York has written to the City Council to object against the planned move.
He wrote:
“As a horse lover and rider, I am deeply disturbed by the unnecessary and misguided political and extreme rhetoric against the horse-drawn carriage industry.
“As a proud New York resident, I have personally enjoyed the beauty of Central Park on a daily basis for many years, and these horses are an undeniable integral part of that experience.”
Other stars such as Pink and Chrissie Hynde are supporting PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals) in their campaign to stop the industry which they say is cruel.

Churchill Downs in Louisville played host this week to a round of American Idol auditions. The track is well known for being the home of the legendary Kentucky Derby.
The singing competition could easily be compared to a real horse race where only the most talented make it past the finish line.
This is not the first time that the race course has hosted a musical event. The Rolling Stones played a concert there in 2006.
Churchill Downs officially opened in 1875 and held the first Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks in its first year.

A 16.1hh Clydesdale cob and a miniature Shetland have become the latest victims of animal cruelty in Headley, Surrey.
Mole Valley police said that animals were shot in the right eye using an air gun.
Both horses are receiving emergency treatment to try and save their sight. It is possible that one of the horses may have to be put down if his sight can’t be saved.
This incident comes after a recent blade attack on a bull in the same area.
Sergeant Peter Gunning-Stevenson said:
“This incident has distressed the owners and the whole equestrian community in the area, which is why I’m appealing to members of the public to help us.”
